As a result of a car accident our daughter received a closed-head injury. As part of her therapy we used Vision Therapy to help her regain her eye muscle strength to help her with visual scanning. We were very pleased with the speed of recovery.

Tyler's Success!

Tyler is an exceptional child, extremely alert and perceptive and possess an inherent ability to learn by example. It became apparent in the first period of his kindergarten year that he was struggling with the alphabet with letter recognition and memory recall. At first it was unclear as to the root cause of his dilemma. Fortunately we discovered that Tyler had a visual deficiency.

At first we were skeptical of the diagnosis and sought a second opinion. I was surprised to find that our local ophthalmologist could not find any problem with Tyler's vision. A follow-up meeting with Dr. Habermehl shed light on the condition that Tyler was experiencing. After listening to Dr. Habermehl, the diagnosis made perfect sense.

Tyler had completed his therapy and progress to date is remarkable. My only comment is I'm so glad I was able to give my child a chance to have a normal chance in life and that his future is worth any effort.
